The automatic information management system for private clinics – AIMS “Metaclinic” is the centralized multidivisional information management system for network of medical institutions. The automatic information management system for private clinics - AIMS “Metaclinic” is the tool for clinic activity management, control, monitoring and automation of interaction between patients, specialists, employees, departments and other organizations. The System consists from the functional modules for automation of operation of the main departments of the medical institution: management, administrative workers, financiers, accountants and medical staff.

The System provides for availability of the integrated data warehouse. Thus, the required security conditions are provided and the data are used in the mode of local and remote interaction.

The System provides for the data accuracy and reliability, information integrity, being affected by errors, failure of hardware and loss of power.

The System provides for accounting of costs and profits of the clinic by departments and for the whole clinic.

The System creates the integrated center for accounting costs and profits of the institution. The System can be used for multiple medical institutions with developed network of regional departments. The System implements the standard protocols of interlevel information interchange between the network enterprises.

The creation of the centralized system allows:

From the point of view of business-requirements, the System is the three-tier centralized system:

• Client layer (workstations)
• Communication channels layer (data communication “cloud”)

Functionality of AIMS “Metaclinic”

AIMS “Metaclinic” contains the following subsystems:  

• The administrative subsystem – managing data about the clinic structure; keeping data about employees, professions and positions.
• The dictionary subsystem – creation and editing dictionaries; information search in the dictionaries.
• The medical record\card subsystem – creation and editing of templates of the card forms; creation and editing of medical records\cards templates; management of patients’ medical records\cards.
• The service management subsystem - creation and editing of service and service package templates; control and accounting of services and packages granted.
• The subsystem of agreements – keeping different types of agreements.
• The subsystem of doctors’ attendance schedules – creation and editing of the doctors’ attendance schedules.
• The financial subsystem – keeping charts of account of the clinic; keeping analytical accounting and accounts of the Ledger; financial operations.
• The statistical accounting subsystem – data processing and analyses; report generation and storage.
• The subsystem of rights and authorities – authentication and authorization of the System users.
